I had the privilege of attending Fabtech Canada 2024 in Toronto as the Purchasing Manager for Yourgene Health Canada, a company specializing in manufacturing medical equipment. This event provided a unique opportunity to expand our supplier network, discover new innovations, and strengthen existing partnerships.
As someone responsible for sourcing materials and managing procurement for a medical device manufacturer, my top priority at the exhibition was to identify potential suppliers who could meet the strict standards of our industry. Fabtech’s extensive showcase of advanced technologies and products allowed me to connect with several new vendors who offered innovative solutions that align with our operational needs. These suppliers presented opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and diversify our supply chain.
